As opposed to the power based masculinity which states that ,
The more power you have the more masculine you are, What the world needs right now is men who are led by values.
Power based masculinity is based on the 3G’s; Girls, Gold and Glory but Value Based Masculinity is based on God who is the ultimate G and Value Giver.
A man who has his identity in the 3G’s sets himself up for failure in life.
This is because he feels intimated by fellow men who are fairing better than him in any of those 3G’s.
The man with his identity in the 3G’s is on a streak of losing even if he gets what he wants.
Value Based Masculinity does not dismiss the 3G’s entirely.
Men with Value Based Masculinity value sexual attraction, financial prosperity and social dominance but they don’t make gods out of them.
Value Based Masculinity knows that manliness is not about chasing girls but about leading them.
Value Based Masculinity knows that manliness is not about making money but about making a difference.
Value Based Masculinity knows that manliness is not about social dominance but humble service.
Values don’t dismiss the importance of money, they refine it.
Values don’t dismiss the beauty of sexuality, they honor it.
Values don’t dismiss the usefulness of social dominance, they manage it.
Value Based Masculinity gives a man confidence.
A man with Value Based Masculinity is secure about himself because he is self aware.
He is secure about his intentions with women.
He is secure about his finances without being intimated by that of others.
He is secure about his purpose and vision.
The origin of a Value Based Masculinity is only in God who is the Value Giver.
We cannot self impose Godly values since Value Based Masculinity is incompatible with our sinful hearts.
Jeremiah 17:9 says that the heart of a man is desperately wicked and deceitful.
A heart like that is bent on selfishness and sinfulness.
In order to attain Value Based masculinity, we must understand that values have a value giver and we must ask the Value Giver to give us a heart compatible with His superior form of masculinity.
That is the Big Real G, God.
